Hello residents Thank you to all that attended the Penydarren PACT meeting recently. For those who could not attend the below is an update on the previous priorities and what has been done to resolve these issues: Theft From Motor Vehicles in the streets surrounding the Londis Shop Regular patrols were made in the area to deter any further theftsCrime Prevention Leaflets were left in the Londis for residentsSWL message sent out encouraging further reporting ASB Horeb Close / Shops on Talbot Square Regular Patrols made in the area to deter any further issues Engaged with Businesses in the locationYouth Service Street Based Team were spoken too and have been attending the area to engage with youths. 2 joint partnership meetings have been held in the area with the Street Based Team and PoliceSWP Crime Reduction Tactical Advisor has attended the area and completed an Environmental Visual Audit report, which has been shared with partners, agencies and local businesses. Further work is to be carried out using the advice from this report with a joint partnership meeting with local Cllrs and Police to be arrangedParking Issues - Garden City Regular Patrols made in the area to identify offending vehiclesWarning tickets have been issuedCouncil Enforcement Officers were requested to attend the area alsoCllrs have been requested to look into the possibility of yellow lines etc… The new Priority for the area is: Parking Permits on AWELFRYN TERRACE Local cllrs are looking into the possibility of this |
